With plenty of experience in hotels and serviced apartments businesses in the U.K. as well as in Spain and a real love of everything related to or near to Granada, we had felt for some time that something was missing in providing chosen accommodation a little out of the ordinary to those visiting the Granada region for the 1st or 100th time.  We knew several owners of small hotels and cortijos in Granada province and started discussing with some of them the best way to provide a better service to prospective visitors than those currently available.

In the way that often happens with such discussions, the opportunity suddenly crystallised for Cathy and Matthew to set up a web site to provide a comprehensive service along with straightforward friendly advice to anybody wanting to stay in or around Granada.  We decided to start this with a small number of properties because we felt that close relationships between us and property owners would be important and because we wanted to be able to very honestly say that we had visited and inspected every property we list – so that anybody booking with us would feel confident placing their holiday arrangements or business trip in our hands.

Shopping around for a suitable domain name took a while but we finally settled on ApartmentsHotelGranada.com as a name that would be memorable and not too long and which we could be confident of making it easy to find in search engines.

With a domain in place, we turned to another friend to discuss the possible web site design and several ideas crystallised, giving us a lot of text to write and a lot of photographs to share.  It is an exciting time and we do not yet know exactly when we shall be ready to launch but ApartmentHotelsGranada.com as a service is born and we look forward to taking care of your Granada holiday arrangements soon !
